I couldn't do it anymore, the nausea and vomiting was too much for me. The midwife said that she could put me on something called Zofran so the nausea would subside and yesterday I started taking it. I went from throwing up 4 to 5 times a day to not throwing up. I still feel nauseas, but at least the baby is getting nutrients from what I eat. Sometimes I feel like I would feel better if I could just throw up, but I know this is better for the baby. Zofran has been proven safe by pregnant women and cancer patients undergoing chemo, so I feel like I made a good decision.
Other than that, I had to cancel my appointment this week because I had to go to work early. So my next appointment is next week, hopefully I will be able to hear baby on the doppler.
I haven't really started showing yet, although I can feel where the baby is growing and my stomach is getting a little harder. It just looks like I'm getting a gut. I guess this transition period will last for a while, then I will get a full blown baby belly:) I'm in maternity pants or my bella band since last week because it's so much more comfortable. The bella band allows me to wear pants unbuttoned because of bloat. So I can wear all the pants I had pre-pregnancy while still being comfortable. I will post belly pics later on in the pregnancy, but for right now, there isn't much to see!

Surprise Ultrasound:)
So I'm about 11 and a half weeks now. Yesterday I had an appointment and I got a surprise ultra sound! The baby is doing great at 163 bpm. The little thing wouldn't stop bouncing around, it was hard for the tech to get a picture in, but she did and here are a couple of them!
Although we will find out the sex of the baby, right now the anticipation of what the little bugger will be is sort of exciting.
It was so cool to see it moving around and squirming. Baby is going to be like mommy in that sense:) He/she has daddy's big head already.
Adam and I can't express how lucky we feel to be blessed with this baby in our lives. Already in 11 weeks, the baby has brought so much joy!
