Halfway There! 20 weeks:)

Finally Spring is here and we can go outside with no jacket on without the fear of freezing like icicles. Not much new here. We find out the sex of the baby next Tuesday and man, oh man are we excited to learn what is in there. I feel like this will make it easier to bond with the baby also. I've talked to other moms and they agree. It's nice to know what to prepare yourself for! My whole family (except for my dad) thinks it's a girl. I don't care one way or the other just as long as it's a healthy baby. I have an inkling it's a boy because of all the nausea he/she has caused ;) Boys are always trouble makers. The nausea, by the way that prevails to this very moment. I'm thinking it's just not going to go away. I've learned to live with it, but still have not found a cure that remotely helps it. That's about it for this week, not much more going on in there except baking a baby:)

Anyone care to guess the sex? I would put a poll in my blog, but I'm not very good at that stuff, so you can just leave a comment:)

Wow, I can't believe I'm almost 18 weeks already

It's been a while since I've updated everyone. Nausea is getting better, I only actually vomit a few times a week. It seems like if its not one thing, it's the other though. I threw out my back last week, as in it hurts to stand for more than 2 minutes at a time. My doctor said this could last the whole pregnancy because it sounds like my uterus is irritating my back. He is sending me to an OMT (osteopathic manipulative therapist). My first appointment is on Wednesday, I'm really hoping that things get better with my back quick. I feel crippled when I wake up in the morning and it lasts throughout the work day. Work is being less than sensitive about my issues, so that makes it even harder. Adam finally convinced me to take a couple of days off to myself and not go to work.
It seems as if the weeks are going by pretty quickly, at almost 18 weeks, I'm still not showing much. I have a very long body and obviously the baby is sitting on my back, so I'm not carrying out front yet. It's kinda nice to still be able to wear a lot of my pre pregnancy clothes still, there aren't many stores around here that sell maternity, actually there aren't any withing a 15 mile radius, so it's a trip to Augusta or Bangor if I really want them.
I had my 17 week appointment last week. The doctor didn't say much except that the heartbeat sounds great, and couldn't be any better. I could tell that he did have sympathy for me and my back since he has had back issues before. He said if I were 34 weeks he would be putting me on bed rest, but since there is a chance that it could get better that we should wait and see while seeing this specialist.
So I have to say that I have the best husband in the world, and I know that I repeat this many many times, but really, what husband would clean up vomit because his wife couldn't stop throwing up while trying to pick it up herself? He makes me sit down while he does stuff for me, he cleans, rubs my back and is always trying to make me feel better.
Someday I will pay him back by having his child ;)
We find out the sex on April 22nd!! Early birthday present for me!! I can't wait to start shopping. What is even better is that we just got a TJMaxx that is opening April 13th, so a lot of my shopping will be done there! I may or may not update before then!
